Plums can be used in different ways: to prepare desserts from them, jam, dry or eat just like that.
Today I will share a recipe for my favorite plum sauce, which is perfect for meat, – writes Ryabenko.
Ingredients:
- Plums – 1 kg (unpeeled);
- Garlic – 80 g (peeled);
- Sugar – 50 g;
- Chili pepper – to taste;
- Tomato sauce – 3 tablespoons;

- Salt – 1 tbsp. l. without bitter;
- Oil – 100 ml.
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the plum beforehand.

3. Bring to a boil.
4. Boil over medium heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Pour in oil and cook for another 3 minutes.
6. Grind through a sieve and pour into sterilized jars.
7. You can also add cilantro and parsley if desired. Adjust spices to taste. This portion makes 3 jars of 200 g each.
