A rare atmospheric phenomenon, which can be seen mainly in autumn, is observed in In the Carpathians on the top of Mount Pip Ivan.

Nazar_turyst and ukrainenow_travel wrote about it and published a video on Instagram.

This phenomenon occurs mainly in autumn – thick fog covers the valleys, creating an effect the sea from the mountains above the clouds.

The Carpathian Sea, the incredible phenomenon was described in the post.

Meanwhile, mountain rescuers reported the air temperature on the mountain.

As of 07:20 on 11/17/2024, it is clear on the Pip Ivan Chornohirskyi mountain, the wind is southwest 8-10 m/s, the air temperature is -7 °С, – wrote the mountain rescuers of Prykarpattia.
