While several manufacturers are completely abandoning the subcompact car category, Nissan is trying its luck again by bringing the little Versa back to our market.
The 2021 Nissan Versa, offered only in sedan format, becomes one of the few entry-level vehicles available in 2021, alongside the Chevrolet Spark, Kia Rio and Mitsubishi Mirage.
Priced from $ 18,283, the Versa is also becoming one of the most affordable new cars in Canada. However, the automotive industry has changed and even the most economical vehicles are now equipped with a minimum of equipment. The Versa comes standard with a seven-inch touchscreen as well as several driver assistance technologies that improve on-board safety.
Powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, the 2021 Versa can come with a five-speed manual transmission or with a continuously variable automatic (CVT).
In the middle of a snowstorm, the journalist from Car guide Marc-André Gauthier was able to establish a first contact with the new Nissan Versa 2021. You can see it in the video capsule at the top of this article!
