The first symbolic progine was installed in Transcarpathia dozhina 20 m Eurokolia between Chop and Uzhgorod, informs Espresso.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal arrived to marvel at the site, and even in compliance with European standards, Chop and Uzhgorod are in charge, which will allow us to create a great transport hub. The trains can go to the Ugorsk and Slovak regions, and go to other parts of Europe. The project was also financed by European partners. Shmigal noted that Ukraine and Slovakia have decided to expand the border infrastructure and continue to work on the creation of financial gains.

Uzhgorod is becoming the first regional region  center, which receives the European colony. A similar project will be created in the Lviv, Volynsk and Chernivtsi regions.

As the first intercessor of the head of the Transcarpathian ODA Miroslav said Biletsky –  This is an important day for the transport sector of our region.

"In the regional center of Transcarpathia, the daily life of the European railway starts from the Chop station to the platform of the Uzhgorod railway station", " having informed the intercessor, the head of ZOD.

According to Biletsky, a 22-kilometer section of a single-track track (1435 mm) should be installed in the middle of a wide (1520 mm) track, which is already in place.
