The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine spoke about the losses of the Armed Forces in military equipment during full-scale hostilities.
The information was disclosed by Deputy Defense Minister Volodymyr Karpenko in an interview with National Defense.
“Today we have about 30-40, and sometimes up to 50% of equipment losses as a result of active battles. Thus, we have lost about 50%. About 1,300 infantry fighting vehicles, 400 tanks, 700 artillery systems have been lost,” Karpenko said.
At the same time, according to a representative of the Ministry of Defense, Western assistance covers only 10-15% of the needs of the Ukrainian army.
“We need artillery; we need high-precision weapon systems because they will “give an advantage” over the Russian army.
