The Verkhovna Rada has registered a draft law, which will allow to close the loopholes for evaders to avoid mobilization by studying at universities.

This was said on the air of a national telethon by a people's deputy, a member of the committee Fedir Venislavskyi of the Verkhovna Rada on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.

"I proposed that people studying in successive types of education should have the right to a deferral. And those who entered the second, third, and fourth higher education after 30 years could not use such a right to postponement. The health of family and friends is probably more important than trying to avoid the draft through such loopholes. he said in response to the presenter's questions.

If this bill is adopted, it will also apply to those men 30+ who took advantage of the training to avoid mobilization in 2022.

Venislavskyi also commented on the statement of Davyd Arakhamia regarding the extradition of men who went abroad with forged certificates of unfitness.

"When a person bought a certificate, he had already committed a crime, when on the basis of forged certificates documents crossed the border – this is another crime. Therefore, here is a question for law enforcement agencies, how quickly they will register criminal proceedings, report on suspicion and the extradition procedure is absolutely possible", – he summarized.
