In Ukraine, a man and a woman were sentenced, who warned about the TCC in the Telegram messenger

Two residents of Chernihiv region were sentenced to a probationary period of one year for reporting on the deployment of military personnel who were carrying out mobilization activities in the region. The man and the woman actively wrote on the Telegram channel about places where they saw CCC employees.

The verdicts for both were handed down by the Mensky District Court on November 28. They are contained in the Register of Court Decisions and the convicted can still appeal them, writes Oboz.ua.

This is about the history of the natives of the village of Blystova, Koryukiv district, Chernihiv region.

The woman was an active participant in the Telegram channel, where she personally wrote at least four posts about the deployment and movement of military personnel, namely: «In the village there is a military registration and enlistment office. Gray car», «Military Commissariat in the center», «Military Commissariat from Birkivka, blue field and two more green».

The man also wrote no less than three posts in this chat about the dislocation and movement of CCC employees, namely: «Military Commissariat towards 15 forests», «Military Commissariat in the center», «We went to center».

As of October 25, 2024, the channel where the convicted people wrote had 124 participants.

During the consideration of their cases, the man and woman pleaded guilty, and in court they noted that they had no previous convictions.

Taking this into account, the court found both of them guilty under Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations). They were sentenced to five years in prison and were simultaneously released from serving their sentences with a one-year probationary period.

According to the decisions, the convicted persons must now periodically come to register with the authorized body for probation issues, as well as notify the authorized body about any change in their place of residence, work, or study. They may file an appeal against the sentence with the Chernihiv Court of Appeal within 30 days from the date of its announcement.
