In the Volgograd region on September 16, there were two serious accidents that claimed the lives of three people – two adults and one child. The road incident in which an 8-year-old girl died took place in the Svetloyarsk district, the second in Zhirnovsky.
In the settlement of Kirov, two vehicles collided in the afternoon – Daewoo Matiz and a minibus Mercedes Sprinter. According to preliminary data voiced by representatives of the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a 37-year-old woman, who was driving a car, did not provide an advantage in movement, which caused a collision with a minibus. Whether the 23-year-old man driving the Mercedes Sprinter was injured in an accident is currently unknown. It is reported that as a result of the accident, an 8-year-old girl who was in the Daewoo Matiz cabin was killed and the woman driver was hospitalized in a medical facility.
The second accident, involving Toyota Auris and GAZ-2747, occurred on the same day in the Zhirnovsky district of the Volgograd region. According to the available information, the driver of the second car for some reason could not cope with control and collided with a “Japanese” moving in the oncoming traffic lane. The passenger and the driver of Toyota Auris were killed in the accident. The man who was driving the GAZ-2747 was taken to the hospital, but there is no information on the nature of his injuries.
