“The 10 kW LPI generator set, equipped with the XTS-210 X-Engine engine, is able to replace several existing generators of different power classes with one generator set, which greatly simplifies the procurement and logistics of generator sets for the army,” the site reads. company.

According to the publication, the new generator is 75% lighter than the Advanced Medium Mobile Power Source (AMMPS) model currently used by the US military. Additionally, the unit is about a quarter the size of the AMMPS, occupying only 9 cubic feet (0.25 cubic meters). No truck, trailer or forklift is required to transport the generator.

At the same time, the generator is compatible with AMMPS systems and will have similar connectivity and interoperability.

The manufacturer notes that the 10 kW system includes all components required for reliable and efficient power generation in the field, including the XTS-210 rotary engine, high-performance electric motor/generator, specialized power electronics, control system, thermal regulation system, fuel tank, muffler and military-grade packaging.
