The transfer of American M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine is on the agenda “at least in the medium term”, writes the Morgen Post.

“We we expect the expansion of Western military assistance to Ukraine – delivery of main battle tanks is part of the discussion”, – said a US State Department official.

The US expects that a decision on the transfer of heavy weapons to Kyiv, including tanks, will be made on January 20.
