The famous American artist David Datuna announced his desire to create in Washington an exact copy of the Lenin Mausoleum, like on Red Square in Moscow. Moreover, according to him, in the future it is necessary to redeem the body of the “leader of the proletariat” from Russia and transport it to a new building.

The artist himself, by the way, explains the essence of his idea by the fact that significant changes have taken place in the United States in recent years, many of which are expressed in the gradual movement of American society towards socialist and somewhat even communist ideals. Among other things, the press service of Datong clarified that American citizens are tired of the authorities' policy aimed at building aggressive capitalism, which forces them to pay off loans all their lives and deprives them of free access to the medical system.
“Today, such attributes as the Mausoleum and Vladimir Lenin are more needed by the Americans than by the Russians,” Datuna added.
The artist claims that it will be quite easy to build a copy of the mausoleum in the United States, but he admits that replacing Vladimir Ilyich is an impossible task. Therefore, he proposes to simply collect any necessary amount of money, for which Moscow would agree to sell the body of the leader and transport the “original” to Washington.
