The United States destroyed the version of “friendly fire” on the Russian long-range radar detection aircraft A-50U, noting that it could have been hit by a missile from the Patriot air defense system.

She believes that the A-50U airborne early warning aircraft was shot down using Patriot air defense systems and SAMbush tactics, that is, an “aerial ambush.” Therefore, this completely destroys the idea that the plane could have been attacked by “friendly fire” Russian air defense.
Rosanna Clemente recalls that Ukrainian military personnel were specially trained for this – German instructors gave the order to move to a firing position and conduct an air battle, after which they retreat back.
"… Some of them (Patriot – “Apostrophe”) are used to protect static objects. Others are moving around and doing some really historical things,” said Colonel Clemente.
