In Russia, they plan to introduce an additional tax on Apple products, including the iPhone, as a response to the policy of the American company.

The draft law on additional fees, which will be considered in the State Duma, was developed due to the fact that the closed architecture of iOS limits the installation of applications from third-party sources, said the chairman of the committee on industry and trade Volodymyr Gutenev.

He noted that a similar problem was decided in Europe.
