As it turned out, a man about 16 years old was observed by an ophthalmologist, and in 2018 doctors diagnosed him with blindness in both eyes. Almost at the same time, the citizen received a driver's license. This fact puzzled the employees of the prosecutor's office, who initiated the inspection. Considering all the circumstances, the prosecutor of Orenburg achieved through the court the deprivation of the driver of the right to drive vehicles. The previously issued document has been terminated. Meanwhile, the court's decision has not yet entered into legal force.
Representatives of the prosecutor's office are currently checking the circumstances under which a person with disabilities became the owner of the right to drive. If a blind citizen was driving, he could provoke a serious road accident, possibly with fatalities.
