In the Kyiv region, two brothers were injured by a grenade explosion, one died

In Hnidyna, Boryspil district, a man died and his brother was wounded as a result of a grenade explosion. This was reported by the police of the Kyiv region. On September 17, at 6:43 p.m., the police received a report about an explosion in one of the gardening societies of the Zolochiv community.

As a result of the detonation of an explosive object, a 33-year-old man died on the spot, and his 28-year-old brother was taken to the hospital with shrapnel injuries to his limbs and face, – law enforcement officers report.

Most likely, there was a fact of careless handling of the ammunition, as a result of which the detonation took place.

At the scene of the tragedy, the police found a manual fragmentation hand grenade of the RGN offensive type with a screw-in detonator of the UDZ type.
