According to the picture of the investigation, a one-year-old girl was brought to the hospital to see a pediatrician with symptoms of SARS. On examination, the physician recognized the patient's condition as satisfactory and sent her home. Less than a day later, the child's condition seriously worsened, the girl was taken to the hospital, but the doctors could no longer help her.

Samara law enforcement agencies have opened criminal proceedings under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The prosecutor's office had been investigating for three years and only now admitted that the actions of the pediatrician were unfounded, writes samaraonline24.

To date, the case has been transferred to the Oktyabrsky District Court. The maximum punishment under this article is imprisonment for up to 6 years with a mandatory payment of a fine of up to 500 thousand rubles.
