Investing.com – In Russia, 7,212 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded per day, 108 people died, the operational headquarters said.

The number of new patients detected per day exceeded 7 thousand for the first time since June 25 and set a record since June 23.

4317 people recovered per day. This is almost 3 thousand less than the number of infected people detected per day.

In Moscow, the coronavirus was found in 1,560 residents over the past day and in 281,968 people since the beginning of the epidemic. On Friday, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, announced the return of part of the quarantine restrictions. In particular, he asked Muscovites over 65 years of age and with chronic diseases to observe a home regime, and the company's managers, if possible, to transfer employees to remote work.

In total, to date, more than 1.13 million cases of coronavirus have been identified in Russia in 85 regions and 934,146 cases of recovery.
