Propagation factor

The prevalence of infection in Moscow on Sunday was 1.02. In Russia this figure is 1.05.

The coefficient was calculated based on the official data of the operational headquarters and from the calculation formula in the methodological recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor 3.1.0178-20 of May 8, 2020.

According to the methodological recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, the infection prevalence rate (Rt) is an indicator that determines the average number of people that one patient infects before isolation. It is calculated based on data on the increase in new cases. Along with the free bed capacity and the rate of testing per 100 thousand of the population, the Rt coefficient is used, according to the recommendations, to make a decision on the phased removal or return of restrictions in the regions.

According to the latest information from Rospotrebnadzor on Sunday morning, more than 40.6 million tests for COVID-19 have been carried out in Russia on an accrual basis, of which 355 thousand in the last day. 217,447 people remain under medical supervision in Russia.
