Poland raised aviation during the Russian attack on Ukraine at night against June 1. In the morning, they announced a "very busy night" for Polish air defense.
This is mentioned in the message of the operational command of the Armed Forces of Poland.
There it was said that a massive long-range missile attack by the Russian aviation covered the entire territory of Ukraine, in particular the border regions with Poland. To ensure security, Poland raised its own and allied aircraft into the air, warning that it could create additional noise in the northeastern territories of the country.
«It was a long and stressful night for the entire air defense system of Poland», — they say in the operational command.
In the morning, it was noted that when the threat level of missile strikes decreased, aviation ceased its activities in Polish airspace, and deployed forces and assets returned to standard operational works.
