In Paris, an unknown attacker attacked passers-by with cold weapons, having managed to wound several people. The incident was noted outside the former Charlie Hebdo magazine building, BFMTV reports.

Information about the incident was announced on September 25, everything happened in the 11th arrondissement of the French capital. Previously, a total of four people were injured, while two of them now remain in critical condition and receive medical attention. The attacker had a cold weapon with him, after what he had done he fled from the scene of the emergency. Now officers of the law enforcement agencies in Paris are looking for him, RIA Novosti writes.
Subsequently, the information about the attack was confirmed by Jean Casteks, who is the prime minister of France. He also promised to personally monitor the situation. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country said that the area where the incident occurred was cordoned off, citizens were urged to refrain from visiting it.
