According to the Institute of National Memory of Ukraine, the renaming of the village is important for the recognition of scouts in toponymy. It is noted that Hurivske was renamed precisely in Odesa region, as this region “symbolizes the endurance of historical traditions in the creation of national special services”. > Vsevolod Zmienko – military figure during the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921, corporal general of the Army of the Ukrainian People's Republic and co-organizer military intelligence of the UNR in exile. By the way, in August 2024, a street appeared in the center of Odessa in honor of Zmienko.
