Why do chargers explode

There are three most common reasons:

  • overheating: batteries may not be able to cool down in the heat, especially when the station is working hard ;
  • damaged or low-quality components;
  • improper operation: overloading the station, using it in excessively humid rooms, etc.

To avoid an explosion, specialists advise:

  • buy only certified charging stations, do not save by buying cheap or uncertified chargers and accessories;
  • use the station only for its intended purpose, follow the manufacturer's instructions and do not overload it;
  • place the charger in a cool, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources;
  • do not leave the charging station unattended during operation.
