In Mykolaiv, a local resident was convicted of treason and informing the enemy

A 54-year-old resident of Mykolaiv was found guilty of a completed attempt to commit high treason after a public indictment by prosecutors from the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office. She was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

It was proven that the woman was a member of an agent network of the Russian special services. While working in a medical institution in Mykolaiv region, she sent photos of a document with personal data of 71 servicemen of one of the Ukrainian military units to the organizer of the network via Telegram. 

The convict was in custody until the verdict was announced. . 

The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the SBU in the Mykolaiv region.
