With the help of a 3D-printer, a new school building is being built in Lviv, which will accommodate 100 lower grade students.
This was announced by the Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology ; Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
“A new school building is being built with a 3D printer, which is already in operation, but has become cramped for children. 100 students of junior grades will study in the new building“, – noted Fedorov.
According to him, this technology makes it possible to use resources more accurately and reduce material costs. Therefore, a team of only three people is needed to manage and control the printing robot.
The project to build a school using 3D printing will be the first in Europe.
The construction and playground painting for schools started at the end of May 2023. This will be a new educational building for first-graders of school No. 23. In general, the opening of the building is planned for January 1 of next year. with 3D tours of the shell-bombed cities of Kyiv region. With the help of 3D tours, visitors to the “Travel Kyiv Region” portal will be able to see the consequences of the war that came to Bucha, Gostomel, Gorenka, Borodyanka, Irpin and other towns and villages of the region.
