In Lviv, a woman was suspected of defrauding a volunteer under the pretext of selling drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The procedural leadership of the Galician District Prosecutor's Office of the city of Lviv reported a 28-year-old woman on suspicion of fraud.

According to the investigation, a resident of the Lviv region defrauded a volunteer of almost 800 thousand UAH. In particular, under the guise of selling non-existent ten drones for military needs.

Preliminarily, for this she created profiles on social networks Instagram and Telegram, where she placed relevant ads for the sale of military ammunition and household appliances.

The woman requested a full prepayment to a bank card for the goods. At the same time, she did not have any goods, and the woman used the money received for her own needs.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Lviv Region, with operational support from the Department for Counteracting Cybercrimes in Lviv Region of the Cyber ​​Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
