In Latvia they plan to study according to the Russian language

The government of Latvia plans to praise the decision about the actions of Vidmova Russian language as well as other foreign language in the world deposits, reports Delfi.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia, Russian language is also included in the foreign language in half of Latvian schools, some of them do not offer alternatives .

Based on the changes introduced by the Ministry of Education and Science in 2026/2027, schools will gradually teach students as a foreign language one of the official languages ​​of the EU or member states of Europe which economic zone (EZ). The Russian language is not included until the number of movs.

In 2027/2028, the initial development of foreign language is due in the 5th and 6th grades, in 2028/2029, in the initial rotation – in the 5th, 6th and 7th grades, in 2029/2030 primary school – in grades 5, 6, 7 and 8, and in 2030/2031 primary school – at all levels of basic education (grades 5-9).

Currently, the bill has received sharp criticism from the private sector b And various associations, stretching over two types of which there were over 300 animals, most of which were directed against the progressive movement of Russian language and other foreign language. They stated that the Russian language is unacceptable for political reasons.
