An owl is depicted on the mural, which is a symbol of GUR. She moves on the surf on the sea. Behind the owl is a hand that symbolizes the invisible work of intelligence. Below is the motto of the GUR “Sapiens dominabitur astris”, and in the sky – the stars themselves – the Taurus constellation, which symbolizes Ukraine.

We dedicate this mural and the entire project to our victorious scouts and thank them for the successfully conducted special operations at sea and beyond. Today, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the IOU is one of the best military intelligence agencies in the world and, of course, one of the most effective structures within the Defense Forces of Ukraine. During the full-scale invasion of the GUR, the Ministry of Defense formed its unique approach to the development and implementation of the operation, which is admired by the whole world, – says Volodymyr Havrysh, President of the BF Modern Ukraine, the initiator of the project.
