In Kirovohrad region, a man will be tried for actively distributing child pornography

Under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors of the Kirovohrad Regional Prosecutor's Office, an indictment was sent to the court against a local resident who stored and distributed child pornography for the purpose of sale and distribution.

As previously reported, during the year the man administered several Telegram channels, where he posted images and video files of a pornographic nature with the participation of minors.

Communities, to which many users joined, were divided into those with free access and closed channels, to which the accused provided paid access. 

During the pre-trial investigation, a sanctioned search was conducted at the perpetrator's residence, during which the phone from which he administered pornographic Telegram channels was discovered and seized.

The man is currently under house arrest.

In accordance with the sanctions of the above-mentioned articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the accused faces imprisonment for a term of up to twelve years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years.
