In Kharkiv, a "dodger" purchased fake documents for $6,500 - police

In Kharkiv, investigators reported a man on suspicion of forging official documents.

This was reported by the Communications Department of the Main Police Department of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

According to police data, a Kharkiv man who was conscripted purchased fake documents for $6.5 thousand via messenger. documents that give the right to exemption from military service during mobilization and travel outside Ukraine.

Law enforcement officers detained a 39-year-old malefactor after he provided forged documents to a specialist at the RTCC.

In light of this fact, investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Article 358 (forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for restriction of liberty for a term of up to five years or imprisonment for the same term.

The man was informed of suspicion of committing a crime.
