On one of the roads in the vicinity of Ust-Dzhegut, in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, an accident occurred, as a result of which a schoolboy died. As reported by the TASS agency, the car, in the cabin of which there were four children aged 13-14, fell off a cliff about 45 meters high.
It is noted that one of the teenagers was also driving the fallen car; it was he who died from his injuries at the crash site. Three of his peers, who were in the passenger seats at the time of the accident, survived and are currently in one of the republic's medical institutions. “On October 3, at about 13:30 local time, a 13-year-old resident of Ust-Dzhegut, driving a VAZ car with forged state registration signs, lost control of the vehicle, as a result of which the car drove off a cliff and fell from a height of 40 -45 meters, ”the agency quotes the words of the local traffic police inspector Ibrahim Tolyakov.
A traffic police spokesman also told the agency that the driver died on the spot as a result of the accident. At the moment, the law enforcement officers are conducting an appropriate check and trying to understand all the circumstances of this incident.
