The combat vehicles marched to the place of the shooting from the Radygino training center. The servicemen had to work out both single and group strikes against moving and stationary targets, which played the role of enemy infantry and armored vehicles. The firing range was more than eight kilometers, and they were fired from closed firing positions. The coordination of artillery actions and control of their execution was carried out from the multifunctional unmanned systems “Orlan-10”. More than 70 soldiers and over 20 pieces of equipment took part in the exercises.
Earlier, in the United States, the destruction of a target imitating a “Russian cruise missile” was carried out using the Paladin howitzer.
