In India, a candidate for parliament promised to build a bar in every village and pour everyone whiskey

What curious and extravagant acts do the deputies not resort to, if they want to get the love and votes of the voters. Radio Maximum tells about an interesting case that happened recently in India.

Recently, on the eve of the elections, one of the candidates for parliament promised to pour everyone free whiskey and open bars in every village. India Today writes about it.

In her election campaign, Vanita Raut said that she wants to “save the poor voters” from bad alcoholic drinks that “deprive them of their senses.” She promised that her alcohol would be imported and tasty.

Poor people work and find comfort only in drinking alcohol. They cannot afford quality whiskey or beer, drink country alcohol and lose consciousness. I want them to try the imported one and have fun, she said.

I wonder how such PR will work among the Indian population. After all, voters usually seek: higher wages, better quality of life, improvement of the country or city.
