This Saturday, June 8, a mural was opened in Lviv in honor of the soldier and poet Yuri Ruf. It depicts the military man himself and a quote from his poem.

First Deputy Mayor Andriy Moskalenko announced this on his Facebook page.

A mural in honor of the poet and military man Yury Ruf, who died on April 1, 2022 in the battles near the town of Popasna, Luhansk region, appeared on one of the houses in the Sykhiv district of Lviv.

Someone knew him personally, someone went together to defend the state, and someone else read his books and participated in events or bought Power and Intelligence merchandise. The combination that best characterizes Hero Yuriy Ruf. They will know about him from the memory that lives in his actions, the name of the street, and from now on – the murals in his native Sikhiv, – writes Andriy Moskalenko.
