In China resumed work for more than 90% of small and medium enterprises
In China, as of Monday, approximately 91% of medium and small businesses restored work, which was suspended due to pandemic coronavirus infection COVID-19, official data showed.
From the point of view of industries in the manufacturing and construction sectors resumed activities 93% of companies in the sectors of hospitality and catering – 87%, said the representative of the Ministry of industry and information technology of the PRC Juan Libing at a press conference.
China has taken a number of measures to support SMEs, which are most affected by the epidemic, including the decrease in the required reserves ratio of banks and provision of medium-sized, small, micro enterprises and individual entrepreneurs of borrowings for a total amount of 2.85 trillion yuan ($400 billion), said the Minister Miao Wei.
According to him, the country would continue to use political incentives to increase the financial support of these companies, informs the Agency “Xinhua”.
