In Bukovina, a court sentenced a “blogger” who filmed provocative streams about the Armed Forces of Ukraine and published information on social networks about the location of military facilities in Chernivtsi to five years in prison.
This is reported by the Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region in Facebook.
According to the investigation, last summer a 54-year-old resident of Chernivtsi filmed a video of the location of a special law enforcement unit within the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As the SBU notes, during one of her broadcasts on the social network, the defendant publicly announced the exact location of the Armed Forces unit, thereby exposing the military to danger.
She published the collected information on her personal YouTube channel, where it was viewed by 8,600 people, and also posted it on her own TikTok page, the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.
Court found the defendant guilty under Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).
