In front of the entrance to the National Assembly in Yerevan (Armenia), representatives of a number of opposition parties and relatives of the soldiers killed in the 44-day war in Nagorno-Karabakh gathered. The protesters demand to start the impeachment proceedings against the Prime Minister of the Republic Nikol Pashinyan.

As Sputnik Armenia news agency reports, the protesters said they intended to block all entrances to the parliament building on September 14. Some of them also spent the night near the building.

Today, the Armenian parliament will continue its work, a government hour is also planned.

In turn, the Armenian Ministry of Defense stressed that the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remains tense.
