The IAEA mission wants to visit the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) by September 5, Bloomberg reports.

Nuclear inspectors will be given broader powers than originally envisaged. 

The IAEA wants to visit the plant before September 5, during a scheduled two-week international mission to test the safety systems at Europe's largest nuclear power plant.

Director General IAEA Rafael Mariano Grossi met with Rosatom officials in Istanbul on Wednesday, August 24, to discuss the details of the mission that will leave Kyiv for the Russian-occupied territory of the city of Energodar.
