Russia promised to continue to provide stable gas supply to Hungary.
This was reported by "RBC-Ukraine" with reference to the words of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siyart on Radio Kossuth.
"When the news broke that Gazprom" will stop deliveries to some countries, I spoke with the CEO of the company and the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia for energy supply, who assured that they will fulfill their contractual obligations to Hungary”, said Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó.
< p>At the same time, the Hungarian Foreign Minister added that “like many other Western European companies, MVM pays for natural gas as required by the supplier.”
According to him, Hungary has a long-term contract for the purchase of gas with "Gazprom" for a period of 15 years.
Natural gas supplies to Hungary and the energy supply of the country as a whole are fully secured.
"Natural gas and crude oil also arrived daily on a contractual, planned, on an uninterrupted and uninterrupted basis,” – said Szijjarto.
BAGNET recalls that Hungary refused to support the embargo on Russian oil, until the EU provides his country with financial guarantees.
