According to the law, people who cooperate with the investigation will be exempt from paying a fine, law enforcement officials added.

After processing 99.64% of the protocols, the current President of Moldova Maia Sandu received 42.37% of the votes, and the nominee of the pro-Russian Party of Socialists of Moldova Alexandru Stoianoglo received 26.02%. This means that a second round of presidential elections will be held.

The second round of presidential elections in Moldova will be held on November 3.

Along with the first round of presidential elections, a constitutional referendum on joining the EU was held in Moldova.
