Having disappeared from the radar, Hulk will soon return to the forefront, but within a very special project.
while waiting for the return of the Avengers
What are Marvel's plans for its green giant? Absent from the films since 2019 and Avengers: Endgame, Hulk should return in the next two films dedicated to the superhero team. As one of the last remaining original Avengers, we're obviously expecting to see him flex his muscles in Doomsday (2026) and Secret Wars a year later. After a timid appearance in the disappointing series She Hulk in 2022, Marvel fans will have to console themselves with Red Hulk, the fearsome transformation of President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (Harrison Ford) in Captain America: Brave New World early next year.
But while waiting for Bruce Banner to return soon, Marvel will give weight to his character thanks to the launch of a substantial issue bringing together a myriad of artists who have already participated in popularizing the character created by Stan Lee and the designer Jack Kirby, in 1962.
a brand new series of comics dedicated to à hulk
It's symbolically in issue #800 dedicated to at the Jade Giant that PKJ and Nic Klein will be joined by a quantity of players. other artists, who will bring their share of additional stories: Benjamin Percy (Wolverine), Tounn Grønbekk (Venom), Greg Pak (Planet Hulk), Lan Medina (Captain America), Geoff Shaw (Cosmic Ghost Rider ) and Lynne Yoshii (Daredevil).
Better yet, these stories will serve as the opening of a brand new regular series dedicated to a character from the “Hulk Family”. Characters who, like Bruce Banner, have been affected by the famous Gamma rays, such as Amadeus Cho, Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, or of course Thaddeus Ross/Red Hulk. Marvel even has the advantage of being able to use the release of Captain America 4 to communicate about its potential and future comics centered around Red Hulk, (and vice versa). The Incredible Hulk #800 will be available from November 27, 2024.
