Recently, Huawei has started experimenting with the shape of its smartphones quite often. For example, the digital market already has the Huawei Mate X and Mate Xs, which received foldable screens, and today it became known that the manufacturer has filed a patent for a new device with a wraparound display, reminiscent of the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha. The corresponding application was sent to the Patent Office of the PRC in March of this year, but the accompanying documents appeared on the Web only now.
The screen bends around one part of the smartphone and takes up more than half of the rear panel area, in the corner of which is a vertical camera with three sensors and two LEDs for flash. Time will tell if the device goes digital or remains on paper.
Earlier, the capabilities of Hisense D11 push-button phone were compared with a smartphone.
