Chinese tech giant Huawei is working on a fundamentally new technology for charging mobile gadgets, which is based on the wireless transmission of energy using invisible lasers. It is reported that the developer has already received a corresponding patent for his invention.

The new technology from Huawei will allow multiple users with laser-compatible devices to be charged simultaneously through the same wireless module. To do this, it will be enough just to be in the same room with a working charger. Presumably, during such charging, the user will also be able to freely use the charging device without worrying about what could harm the battery, which at this moment replenishes the charge, since the laser emitter will constantly provide adequate power.
At the same time, the company itself notes that during the development they took into account the danger of lasers for the visual organs of humans and animals. Now Huawei experts are even working to teach the new charging station to detect human eyes and avoid exposure to the beam.
The novelty has not yet received any name. The timing of its commercial implementation or the appearance of the first devices compatible with this type of charging is also unknown.
