HTC appears to be planning to return to the top smartphone makers with a unique new flexible model. The manufacturer has already patented the corresponding device, and it itself was recently declassified on high-quality renders.

However, the organization WIPO, which deals with the protection of intellectual property, was the first to unveil images of the new product from HTC. Images published on the WIPO website show how unique the design a future gadget can get. On the presented renders, you can see that the smartphone is made in the clamshell form factor, while its display, in comparison with similar models from Motorola and Samsung, folds not inward, but outward.
Thanks to this design of the gadget, the user can get rid of the need to use an external display, and the manufacturer is an economist in the absence of this element. However, this configuration immediately raised questions among industry experts as to whether the new product would not be subject to excessive wear and tear when worn and used.
Also in the published illustrations, you can see that the gadget provides for the presence of a multi-module main camera.
