HTC returns to the smartphone market with the interesting U24 Pro

The once popular smartphone manufacturer HTC has officially introduced the U24 Pro, with which it apparently plans to return interest to the brand. New HTC smartphone – this is an event in itself, and the gadget also turned out to be interesting.

U24 Pro is equipped with a 6.8-inch curved OLED display with a separate with a resolution of 1080×2436 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass (which type – is unknown). The “brain” of this gadget is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, which is combined with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage with the possibility of expansion.

The smartphone runs on Android 14 and has the standard of protection against dust and water IP67. It has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and f/1.88 aperture, an 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50-megapixel f/2 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.45 and autofocus.

Dimensions of the gadget: 167.1 x 74.9 x 8.98 mm with a weight of 198.7 grams. It has a 4,600mAh battery with support for 15W wireless charging and 60W wired charging, as well as 5W reversible wireless charging. There's also a 3.5mm headphone jack and even a dual-tone notification LED on the front.

The U24 Pro is priced at €564 in the EU, which is probably a weak point for the smartphone given the competition from better-known Chinese manufacturers. But the fact that HTC is still alive – this is already a victory.
