HSV Hamburg: World star Hans Lindberg celebrates HSV Danes Frederik Bo Andersen – sport mix

The HSV handball players have completed their personnel planning for the mission class content. The newcomer has signed right winger Frederik Bo Andersen (22 / GOG Gudme). The Dane signed a contract in Hamburg until 2024.

Andersen (1.86 meters, 89 kilos) has already gained international experience (European and Champions League). “I would like to establish myself in the Bundesliga and become a permanent part of this league,” says Andersen, who sought advice from the experts before switching.

Namely with world star Hans Lindberg (39 / Füchse Berlin), from 2007 to 2016 with HSV. “I talked to him,” reveals Lindberg. “HSV and Jogi Bitter also asked me.”

His verdict? “It has no weak points, but a lot of development potential,” praised Lindberg in an interview with BILD. “This is a very good commitment from HSV. Frederik has a good eye, a good wrist, can throw seven meters, he can jump well, is mentally strong and physically present. He can make the leap to the national team. “

Before that, however, the 22-year-old Andersen, who came out of his GOG contract prematurely (until 2022), wants to help HSV stay up and form a top duo on the right with Thies Bergemannn (25).

“To do this, I want to make my greatest possible contribution to the success of the team and do my best for the team,” says Andersen. “I’m really happy about my move. So far I’ve only heard good things, about the city, about the club and also about the fans. I hardly know Hamburg so far, I was only there for a few hours for a medical check-up and I’m looking forward to getting to know everything in peace. “

He has already seen the Barclaycard Arena and dared to take a look inside: “It’s a dream for every handball player to play in such a hall in front of as many people as possible.” It’s only a few weeks left …

After national goalkeeper Johannes Bitter (38 / Stuttgart), circle runner Manuel Späth (35 / Porto), the backcourt left-hander Theilinger (29 / Göppingen) and Back area right-handed Azat Valiullin (30 / Ludwigshafen) – whose contract has not yet been signed – Andersen is the last new member of the team of head coach Torsten Jansen (44), who is going to the training camp in Wittenberge (17-20 August / with a test against SG Matzlow-Garwitz).
