Scammers are actively calling Ukrainians and offering to install a new bank application. The attackers pose as bank employees and inform them that the old banking application no longer works and you need to download a new one. Using this scheme, scammers want to gain access to the victims' online banking.

Then they send phishing links to download the application, supposedly from an official chatbot in one of the messengers. Thus, scammers obtain the authorization data of bank customers. Then, the scammers convince you to give them a code from SMS messages or calls from the real bank support service, as a result of which they gain access to online banking and steal funds.
To protect yourself from fraud, during a phone call, say that you will now call the bank's official number, indicated on your payment card. Always end the conversation if you are asked for passwords, bank codes, or if they control your actions during a phone call (asking you to install an application on your device).
Follow the safety rules when downloading an application to your phone or other device. Choose only licensed software from official stores or developer websites.
If you have become a victim of fraud, fill out the feedback form on the Cyberpolice website at the link: https://ticket.cyberpolice.gov.ua (https://ticket.cyberpolice.gov.ua/)/(https://ticket.cyberpolice.gov.ua/) or report this situation by phone: 0 800 505 170.
