How to improve a slow Wi-Fi signal: 3 easy solutions

When the Internet is slow and even videos are slow to download, it can be annoying. A lot of thoughts arise as to why this is happening: maybe the provider is trying to disappoint me again, or my router can't cope with the load.

Before panicking, I usually check the Internet speed through services like Speedtest. If the results are worse than promised, I try a few simple tricks to remedy the situation. First, I find out where the router is.

It turns out that many people just put it on the floor, and this — not the best solution. The higher the better! I managed to mount my router on the wall and it really improved the signal.

Then I try to keep the router away from appliances. The frequency at which the router operates can be affected by microwaves and televisions. So I always try not to put him next to them. And yes, if I can, I switch to 5 GHz, it's less susceptible to interference.

I don't forget to reboot. Just like a computer, a router also needs rest. That's why I try to restart it once a week so that everything works more stably.
