Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon and the aerospace company Blue Origin, as well as the owner of The Washington Post. This spring, he again regained the title of the richest man in the world, ahead of Elon Musk.

His fortune is estimated at 200 billion dollars. How did Bezos achieve such success? Here are the most interesting rules of the billionaire, which were shared by the Telegram channel “Start something!”

1. Sleep 8 hours and wake up without an alarm clock

Jeff Bezos is convinced that a good night's sleep is the key to a productive day. He goes to bed at 9:30 p.m. and wakes up naturally, without an alarm clock. Such arrangement of the day allows him to feel fresh and ready for the challenges of each new day.

2. Love slow mornings with the family

Bezos spends his mornings in a calm atmosphere together with his fiancée, American journalist Lauren Sanchez. They start the day with diaries, not checking phones. This approach helps to focus on personal goals and plans before starting the working day.

3. Go to the gym almost every day

Physical activity is an integral part of Bezos' life. He regularly visits the gym and rarely misses a workout. Even on days when he struggles to find motivation, he makes an effort to keep his body in good shape.

4. Hold the most important meetings before lunch

At 10 a.m., Bezos holds so-called “high-IQ meetings” – those that require the most intellectual effort. He believes that the morning hours are most suitable for solving complex problems, when the brain works most efficiently. If important matters arise later in the day, he usually postpones them until the next morning.

5. Take “thinking breaks”

Bezos is known for his ability to focus, but he doesn't stick to a strict schedule. Instead, he allows himself to “wander” mentally, providing space for creative thinking and unexpected ideas. These “thinking breaks” often last overtime, but they help him find innovative solutions and new opportunities.

These simple but effective rules helped Jeff Bezos reach the heights of business success and become one of the most influential people in the world. They can also be useful for those who want to achieve significant results in their career and life.
