Calculate what power charging station do you need/EcoFlow

Planned power outages made Ukrainians actively interested in charging stations. They are popularly called “ecoflow” due to the popularity of the manufacturer of the same name.

This is especially true for residents of apartment buildings who cannot install a generator. However, the choice of a charging station becomes a problem, since the price depends on its power, writes “Obozrevatel”.

There is a risk of overpaying for a powerful station that will not be used to the full, and buying a cheaper device that will not provide the necessary energy level. A calculator for choosing charging stations, which is distributed on social networks, can help with this.

This calculator is available at this link, but the author notes that it is only intended for approximate calculations.

I do not take any responsibility for possible errors in results or data. Please calculate everything yourself, taking into account the parameters of specific devices,
– warns the author of the calculator.

Using the calculator is simple. Necessary:

1. Choose the devices that you plan to power from the charging station.
2. Indicate their power and required operating time in the table.
3. Get offers for charging stations that meet your needs.

For example, if you plan to power several devices, select them on the calculator panel and specify the number and time of operation. For example:

• Wi-Fi router with a power of 12 W, 5 hours;
• LED lamp with a power of 10 W, 3 hours;
• TV with 75 W , 2 hours;
• 100 W refrigerator, 24 hours.

Based on this data, the calculator gives the parameters for your station. In this case, it is:

• Minimum station capacity – 2640 W*h;
• Minimum starting power – 397 W;
• Minimum working power – 197 W.

Please note that the EcoFlow devices are in great demand among Ukrainians. This is especially true for those who live in apartment buildings and cannot install a generator. One of the advantages of this device is fast charging, which is especially relevant when light in homes can appear in limited quantities.
