Tomasz Siemoniak couldn't stand it
On Tuesday's edition of “Kropka nad i” Tomasz Siemoniak was a guest. During the conversation, there was no shortage of topics regarding the violation of Polish airspace by a Russian plane or the fight against foreign mafias operating in our country.
At one point, Monika Olejnik excused her guest to move to London, where “Michał Kuczmierowski, former head of the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves” was. This didn't sit well with Siemoniak, who decided to express his dissatisfaction.
„Before we go back, I'll say that I really don't like the fact that you're interrupting an interview with the Home Secretary because a suspect in serious crimes in London is going to say something on the street. This is absolutely beneath criticism– Siemoniak said.
The internet went crazy
Siemoniak didn't just refer to this situation as himself. He stated that such a situation shouldn't happen in a conversation with anyone. Olejnik asked the minister whether she was staying or intending to leave the studio. The head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration confirmed that he was staying, emphasizing that he was doing so because he “respected the viewers”, whom he believed the station “did not respect”.
Tomasz Siemoniak's attitude was well-received by internet users. Many commentators did not hide their indignation that the journalist interrupted a conversation with a Polish government minister to show a man “leaving a London jail”.
“Minister Tomasz Siemoniak rightly showed his indignation that M. Olejnik interrupted his interview with him in Kropka nad I in order to show a guest in London reporting to a police station. Journalism has fallen on its face. Hands are dropping– this is just one of many similar comments, quoted by “Goniec”.
And what do you think about the whole situation?
